1 Promotion Period
Promotion runs from 18 June to 31 August 2026.
2 Eligibility
Econet Group staff and spouses, advertising agency staff are not eligible for this promotion.
3 How To Qualify
To stand a chance to win in the ChakaChaya promotion draws, a customer needs to transact and earn at least 30 points every week. Transactions on both USD and ZWG wallets will earn points.
4 Weekly Winning
A customer can win every week for the duration of the promotion. A customer can also win multiple times during the promotion.
5 Prize Exchange
Physical prizes except cows and holiday trips are not exchangeable for cash.
6 Voucher Disbursement
All vouchers will be disbursed in the form of e-value into the winner’s EcoCash wallet.
7 Cash Prizes
Cash prizes will be paid into the EcoCash wallet.
8 Promotion Draws
All EcoCash promotion draws will be conducted under the guidance of internal and external auditors.
9 Winner Selection
The decision on selected winners is final. There will be no further correspondence post notification of the winners.
10 Promotion Changes
The EcoCash Business reserves the right to terminate the promotion or adjust the mechanics upon prior notification of all participating customers and no correspondence shall be entered.
11 Prize Collection
Any uncollected prizes after 30 days of notification of winners will be forfeited. Customers are encouraged to collect their prizes on time to avoid their prizes being forfeited after 30 days from initial notification.
12 Winner Announcements
Winners will be announced via SMS, on the EcoCash microsite and on EcoCash social media channels, including Facebook, where possible.
